Once, Twice, Three Times a Loser

The only consistent thing about me right now is I am inconsistent.  Brutal.  My mind has been racing over a million things and I am not focusing in on whats important, whats my priority?  My wife has diagnosed me with adult ADHD, she is pretty serious about that, and funny enough she is going to start giving me strategies to deal with it.  Since she is very well educated in the field - masters and all, I guess I need to start listening.

So what does it have to do with this blog, everything.  Its my third attempt at keeping myself honest.  I stop - start, stop - start, and so on.  And by blog I also mean diet.  My diet right now, truth be told, is better than it has been in 15 years.  Seriously.  I cheat here and there but it is nothing like it used to be.  I might guess I was consuming 4-5k calories sometimes and that was multiple times per week.  I am down 30lbs since October.  Its a good weight loss but I want to lose more.  I want to lose another 20 lbs.  My goal is to lose 50lbs between 10/10 and 10/11.  I started at about 267 lbs.  Pants were so tight they were uncomfortable.  Its a terrible feelings.  I want to be more consistent in my diet and exercise, small goals.

  1. Sean,
Don't get so caught up in the number on the scale. Focus on eating right and getting to Crossfit, then your first metric will be wod comparison especially bodyweight wods. You have made huge progress already.
